Desert Style Real Shot Of Iwc’s New Pilot Top Gun Navy Air Combat Force Series Special Section

At the Geneva Watch & Clock Fair 2019, IWC launched the new pilot TOPGUN navy air combat watch series, which attracted much attention. In addition to inheriting the classic design of the IWC Pilot’s Watch, another change this year is the application of materials. In addition to using the new material Ceratanium® for the first time in pilot watches, another special watch is also eye-catching. IWC presents a sand-colored ceramic case for the first time, showing the desert atmosphere. This new TOPGUN Navy Air Force Chronograph ‘Mojave Desert’ Special Edition is limited to 500 pieces. (Watch model: IW389103)

The sand-colored ceramic material is inspired by the Mojave Desert, where the US Navy’s largest onshore base, the NavalAirWeaponsStationChinaLake, is located. This color is created by combining zirconia with other metal oxides and has a strong personality and recognition.

The sand-colored ceramic case has a strong personality, and the surface has a pure matte gloss.

The lines of the case are smooth and round, and the lugs present a certain radian, which is ergonomically designed.

Unlike the case material, the crown is made of stainless steel, with the IWC logo engraved on it, and it has a non-slip texture to make it feel first-class. There are timing buttons at both ends to adjust the timing device.

The dark brown dial with sand-colored hands echoes the color of the case, which reflects the brand’s overall aesthetic design style. This color and the navy pilot’s uniform have the same effect, and the tough guy’s wind is coming out.

Three sub-dials are neatly arranged on the dial, and the day and date display windows are arranged side by side at 3 o’clock.

Inside the watch is the IWC-manufactured 69380 movement, equipped with a classic column wheel design and a two-way pawl winding system, which can provide 46 hours of power reserve.

A sandy fabric strap accentuates sportiness.

The sand color combination makes the new watch more recognizable, and it is equipped with IWC’s homemade movement, which presents us a watch with high value and high performance. Presumably for many watch fans, it is a brand new visual experience.

The above is the latest cutting-edge information of the 2019 SIHH Geneva International Watch Salon brought by the Watch House. Next, we will provide more and more exciting exhibition reports, so stay tuned.
